Thanks again to BobblesGalore.com for the James Loney and Jonathan Broxton bobbleheads. Don't forget to check out Bobbles Galore for any SGA bobbleheads you may need.

And finally, thanks to everyone who participated in the contest. I had a great time putting this together, so I'm gonna do it again. This time it's gonna be for a Clayton Kershaw bobblehead, which the Dodgers will be giving away on May 17.

I'll be holding the contest on Wednesday, May 18. Stay tuned for more details on the contest.

Contest Reminder, Plus A Hint To Tomorrow's Trivia Question

I just wanted to remind everyone that the Dodgerbobble bobblehead contest is tomorrow following the Dodgers/Mets game.

Remember, in order to win, you must be a follower of Dodgerbobble.com and you must be the first person to answer my trivia question correctly. For contest details, click here.

I've been getting many emails from people wondering what the trivia question will be about. Here's a hint: Since the Dodgers wore their Brooklyn throwback uniforms this week and will be playing in New York this weekend, the question will be about the Brooklyn Dodgers. So get your Brooklyn Dodgers Wikis ready.

Anyone Going To Sheen-Co De Mayo Night?

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

So, is anyone going to the Lake Elsinore Storm game tonight? It's "Charlie Sheen-Co De Mayo" night, and the Storm are celebrating with a few Charlie Sheen-related promotions, including a bobblehead.

The bobblehead has Sheen wearing a red sombrero and a #99 Storm shirt. The #99 is a reference to Sheen's "Wild Thing" Vaughn character in the movie "Major League".  The Storm will also hand out 500 pairs of horn-rimmed-style glasses like Sheen wore in the movie.

Besides the bobbleheads and glasses, other promotions tonight will include: “tiger’s blood” cocktails, an in-game taco eating contest, and a "two-for-one Ho Hos special." Nice.

According to the Storm, the team has sold 3,000 tickets to tonight's game, so get there early if you want the bobblehead.

Contest Time!

It's time for a contest. We're two weeks away from the first Dodger bobblehead giveaway of the year, Clayton Kershaw.  I will be giving one of those Clayton Kershaw bobbleheads away in a contests in a couple of weeks, courtesy of Bobbles Galore.

Until that time comes, I've got another contest to run. Here's what I'm giving away: A James Loney bobblehead, a Jonathan Broxton bobblehead, a Dodger T-shirt, and, in honor of the Dodgers wearing throwback Brooklyn jerseys tomorrow, a Preacher Roe autograph. The bobbleheads are courtesy of Bobble Galore.

I know what a lot of you are thinking, 'Why the hell do I want a Loney and Broxton bobblehead?' Yes, they're both having crappy seasons, but they are bobbleheads nonetheless. You can do whatever you want with them if you win 'em. Some of you may need to add them to your collection. Some of you may want to sell them. And some of you might just want to burn them. I don't care. Once you win, do what you want.

So how do you win? You need to do a couple of things:

(1)You must be a follower of this blog. What does that mean? Your name must be in my list of 'Followers' in the blog sidebar. Yes, it's a cheap way to get followers, but it's a rule of the contest. If you're already a follower, you can win. If you're not a follower, click on the 'FOLLOW' button in the sidebar.

(2)Answer the trivia question correctly. Friday evening, I'm gonna ask a trivia question. The question will be asked once the Dodgers/Mets game ends. Remember, the Dodgers are playing in New York. I'm holding the contest at this time to give people on the east coast a chance to win. It's probably gonna be a simple question about the Dodgers. The first person to answer the question correctly will win the prize pack. You will answer the question in the comments section of the post.

If anyone has a question about the contest, email me at: dodgerbobble@yahoo.com

Remember, you must be a follower of Dodgerbobble.com and don't forget to check out Bobbles Galore, the world's largest SGA bobblehead reseller.

Dodgers Players And Coaches Sign Autographs For Tornado Relief

I attended "Viva Los Dodgers" Day at Dodger Stadium today. They had all the usual festivities, mariachi bands, dancing, raffles and giveaways. The Dodgers also raised funds today for tornado relief in the southern states. Many players and coaches signed autographs for the fans in attendance. For a $5 donation, you were able to get one autograph. The whole event was spearheaded by Dodger reliever Lance Cormier, who is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, one of the hardest cities hit by the tornadoes.

Some of the other Dodgers who appeared were: Manager Don Mattingly, Pitching Coach Rick Honeycutt and players Clayton Kershaw, Jonathan Broxton, Matt Guerrier, Chad Billingsly and Marcus Thames.

Tommy Lasorda was there too, taking pictures with the fans and the 1981 World Series trophy. Jim Campanis was also there, as the original schedueled autograph alley signer.

I got there early, and headed straight for the Don Mattingly line. The line moved quickly. I had Donnie sign his 1987 Donruss Yankees card.

Next was Rick Honeycutt. I had him sign a ball. I wasn't paying attention, and he signed the ball with Sharpie. Oh well.

Next was Clayton Kershaw. Surprisingly, his line only took about 15 minutes to get through. Marcus Thames was signing at the same table and they let us get both signatures for the $5 donation. I had Kersh sign a card and Thames sign my hat.

I got in the Tommy Lasorda line next, but missed him by just a few people. I wasn't too upset because I've met Tommy before. As I walked away, I ran into Dodgers photographer Jon Soo Hoo.

At that point, the game was about to begin and people were heading to the stadium. Jim Campanis was still there signing,so I got in his line. He was very nice. He signed a card and my hat. He also took a picture with me and let me wear his World Series ring.

I had a great day today. I hope the Dodgers raised a lot of money! Thanks to Theresa for everything today. It was nice seeing Simon, Jason, Javier, Gustavo and Joseph. If I missed anyone, sorry. And thanks to Vin Scully Is My Homeboy for all the info on today's event.
