The Los Angeles Dodgers and KABC Talk Radio 790 have extended their partnership through the 2011 season, it was announced today.
More than 800,000 additional listeners tuned into Dodger baseball on KABC in 2009, bringing the total to more than 1.6 million listeners by October, which includes postseason ratings that were the highest in recent history. Hall of Famer Vin Scully, who calls the first three innings of all home games and those road games against Western Division opponents, is entering his 61st season for the Dodgers. Former Dodger outfielder Rick Monday begins his 17th season behind the mic in Los Angeles while Charley Steiner enters his sixth season with the Dodgers.
The Dodger postgame show, Dodgertalk, featuring Ken Levine and Josh Suchon, is back for the third consecutive season in addition to pre- and postgame shows that keep Dodger fans informed on all of the latest news and information about the team.
