2010 Allen & Ginter Clayton Kershaw Auto

Clayton Kershaw had another great night on the mound. The Dodgers' ace went 8 innings tonight, giving up ONE run on four hits. He struck out nine D-Backs and walked none. Nowadays, the only way I can watch a Dodger game is when Kersh or Billingsley are starting. I can't get enough of these kids. In my opinion, two "Aces".

Which brings me to my latest ebay purchase. Last week I picked up three Kershaw's, including a 2010 Allen & Ginter auto card. After a few attempts at this card over the last few weeks, I finally got one. The auction also included a 2009 Bowman and a 2010 Topps 206 Kershaw, two cards I didn't have.

I'm happy I finally got the A&G auto. This is my second Kershaw autograph. The first one I got at an appearance last year. But that's a story for another day.

  1. I'm really proud of how Kershaw has been pitching this year. I think it's been a combo of finding himself as a pitcher and having a veteran like Ted Lily to maybe help him out a little bit. But it's mostly all Kershaw finding the confidence out there.

  3. Jessica - This has been a great year for Kersh. He really has emerged as the "Ace" of the staff.

Dutch - I believe 2006 was the first year for A&G.

  4. Haha DB, I just picked up a Kershaw A&G Auto as well, it arrived yesterday. And I was looking at the exact auction you won. Haha, small world.

  5. Greg - Did you bid on it too?

I've been watching a few of these Kershaw A&G autos. We've probably been watching the same auctions. I won a Matt Kemp three days ago. I'll post that soon.

  6. No, I don't recall bidding on it. I think it just got out of a range I liked, plus I had already won a previous auction for one. I'm sure we're looking at all the same auctions haha.

Can't wait to see the Kemp one, that sounds sick as can be.

  7. Yeah, actually, the Kemp isn't an A & G, but a Letter Auto card. It's nice.
