2002 Fleer Genuine Ink Ron Cey Auto

I picked up this 2002 Fleer Genuine Ink Ron Cey Auto a few months back. I thought it was a pretty nice looking card with a sweet signature. I love how he signed his #10 in the middle of the "R". It's numbered 47/975.

The Penguin is one of my favorite Dodgers of all time. He played third base in what may be the greatest group of infielders ever. Cey, along with Steve Garvey at first base, Davey Lopes at second, and Bill Russell at shortstop spent more than 8 1/2 seasons together.

As much as I love this card, I still would rather have my Cey bobblehead signed.

  1. That is a nice looking card, and nothing beats a sweet looking signature. I love when players include their jersey number in the auto. Very Cool.

  2. Charles - Thanks. I agree. Plus, the sig is on card, not sticker.

  7. Night Owl - I saw your 1975 Topps Cey post. That is such an amazing card.

I still want to get his auto in person.

Charles - Absolutely. Cey is definitely one of my faves.

Cynicalbuddha - The only Dodger with a better porn 'stache was Jeff Kent.

Dustin - The Penguin! Yeah, this is great autograph.
