I was happy when I found out Russell would be signing again in autograph alley on Friday, July 13. I couldn't wait to get up to Dodger Stadium to finish the project. When I got up there, there was just a handful of people waiting to get the signature. The one auto I had waited the longest to get, in the end only took a few minutes of my time, but it was worth the wait.

ReplyDeleteNice!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm startin my very first one... Is boil have started easy but I took a challenge... It's a photo of the infield but trying to put the number of all star appearances.. Hard to find Cey and Davey doesn't sign very often any ideas
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea, good luck!
DeleteSorry using iPhone so it autocorrects wierd words.. Boil should have been "should"
ReplyDeleteDamn auto spell! Uribe always turns into Urine!
DeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteI know the hard work it takes for these great dodger projects, I just finished one myself, a 1983 topps dodger team autographed set, it took a while, but I found the main 2 I was looking for (Vicente romo, and mark Belanger, who passed away almost 15 yrs ago, both cards are certified by psa so I felt comfy shoving out a pretty penny for both of them) 26 cards with 27 autos Fernando and Guerrero on the team card, congrats on them
ReplyDeleteDamn, that is extremely impressive. I would love to try a project like that.
DeleteOh you finally got it! Good Job Josh!
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott!
ReplyDeleteWhat are some good websites or blogs where I can learn about local sports signings here in So Cal.? I mean besides Vin Scully is My Homeboy.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, that's the only one i use. maybe try signingshotline.com
DeleteI was really surprised also, i was there to get bobblehead and ball and took less than 15 minutes. The next day, Paul LoDuca had a line from left fied pavillion entrance to the right. I was expecting the opposite.
ReplyDeleteWell, Bill Russell is a regular signer in the alley. That was LoDuca's first time.
DeleteAwesome! It's great to have a project come to a good end. Great autos. crisp, clean, all of them. Any new project on the horizon?
ReplyDeleteThanks! No new projects right now.
ReplyDeleteGreat balls
